You can definitely tell the difference between regular hamburger and steakburger. Steakburger is much more dense and you can tell it is made from all the cuts. It makes a great hamburger and adds great flavor to my homemade spaghetti sauce."

I plan on a new order in two weeks. your steakburger take's my wife and i back when we where kid's on cattle we raised our selves. my young one's are grown and on there own, doing what ever it is they do. i plan on ordering at least four orders a year, but it will more than likely be more. thanks for what you do, in giving us a healthy food source.

I've ordered from SteakBurger three times now, and every time the order has come frozen and in perfect condition. Twice the dry ice had dissipated, but in one there was a TON of it - in fact it was with the first order! So, like an idiot, I think it's a package of SteakBurger with ice on it, and pick it up! Uh....no, not a smart thing to do. So then I decide to have fun with it and pour water over it! Now THAT was cool. My kitchen looked like a rock concert for over an hour! LOL! Better living through chemistry! I cannot think of a single thing to change. The meat is absolutely wonderful, and I can spot a non-SteakBurger patty a mile away. So, I continue to buy for these reasons: 1. The product is fantastic. 2. I believe in supporting family-owned businesses. 3. I like eating "guilt-free" meat, meaning the animals are grassfed and cared for and live "normal" lives. But I have to tell you, I think it's the blog that makes it seem as though I'm not buying from a "faceless business". When I order from SteakBurger I know that there is a FAMILY behind that name and that means a lot to me. If I had my way, you'd be in the chicken business, too! Now I only buy free range, "organic" chickens, too. Although I'm never as sure of the veracity of their claims on the package. I tell everyone that I buy my meat from a family ranch in Texas and then tell them the SteakBurger story. I will say I don't hear much advertising from Hugh Hewitt anymore, and that is how I found out about Steakburger. I wish the shipping charges were less, but you can't help that and even my husband thinks it is worth it. So, to sum up: not a single complaint, except maybe to update blog more often! : )

I received my order in good frozen condition. What I have cooked have enjoyed very much. Have been traveling alot and have not done much cooking. However I fixed Taco Salad with one pound and meat loaf with the other. Enjoy muchly.

I actually don't have a question but wanted you to know how much I am enjoying the steakburgers! I cooked a pound of it yesterday and experienced the difference between it and even the "ground sirloin" store bought meat. Is it my imagination or does it seem to be more meat? I know that a pound is a pound but steakburger just seems to have more bulk to it. I also enjoyed a glorious breakfast of free range eggs. Delicious. I can't wait to tell my doctor that I found a reliable source for organic meat and eggs so close to home. Now, I am on a quest to find a reliable organic poultry place. Any suggestions? The shipment arrived in good shape and we are enjoying the meat. But since there are only two of us and we don't eat a lot of beef, this will last us for awhile. In fact, I had almost given up buying ground beef, because I didn't know where to buy it that I would have confidence in how the beef had been raised and fed. Best beef I've had in years. The day our shipment arrived it was just about time to start dinner. I broke out 4, 1 pounders and started frying them up. The kids came running, saying what smells so good. I said I'm frying up some hamburger, they thought I'm teasing them. Even after looking into the pan. I had to tell them it was really steakburger. They just looked at me kind of funny. They had never smelled real ground beef cooking before. My wife walked in and said the aroma took her back to childhood. 5 of us gobbled up the 4lbs, I was making extra so we could re-heat it during the week. I tell so many people about it I'm afraid you guys aren't going to be able to keep up with production. I've even considered opening a hamburger stand selling nothing but your grass-fed steakburgers. If you do have the capacity to serve a restaurant or two, I do have some ideas. Your family is doing such a great job and you real have a unique product with steakburger. Shoot, I just made myself hungry! --- Negative feedback. The bottom fell out of the cooler in transit. Fed-ex had to tape it back together with duct tape. They tapped up right away so the meat was still frozen solid when it arrived. The Fed-ex driver said he'd like to see them packaged with an over carton (cardboard). My shipment was pretty large and it was somewhat difficult for them to move without poking holes in it. Wow, you guys have only been in business 2 years and that's the most negative feedback I have. I was completely happy with how the SteakBurger products arrived. Everything was still frozen completely and the dry ice was all gone. (I was kinda hoping for a little dry ice left because that stuff is just plain cool.) The box was in perfect shape, so much so that I couldn't bring myself to throw it out. I may just put a couple straps on it and take it to my next picnic. And the product, well, it is incredible. The taste is amazing and cooks wonderfully. I will definately order more in the future. I received my order today. I was a little concern when Fedex tracking showed it was on the truck for delivery at 5:00am and I hadn't received it by 5:00PM. The driver showed up at 5:30. It was an unusually warm day, 80 degrees. The shipment was made on Monday and delivered on Thursday, just in time for dinner and arrived frozen solid. We made 2 pounds of steakburger for 4 people, I should have made more. This was the best ground beef we've ever had. Thank you so much for producing steakburger. I ordered your beef and I LOVE it. I've been telling people about it as well. (I'm actually going to take information to a tech who helped me with a test at the hospital the other day.) I have a family of eight and so I was looking for a way to get the per pound price down and thought a larger order might do it. When I get ready to order more, I'll ask about a custom order. After the e-coli scare years ago, our family quit eating beef. I hadn't had a burger in over eight years. I'm pleased to say that steakburger was the beef I felt safe eating. I like the fact it's boned by hand and all the good cuts are included, and the cattle is grass fed. What a treat to know I can safely add healthy, lean, red meat to my family's diet once again. We were vegan for a few years and then went to a vegetarian for many years. I have to say that I feel better eating some meat. It's a more balanced diet. The beef was delicious. I was a bit concerned about the shipping process, but once I received it I considered leaving in the sun for five more days :-) I also ordered some bacon from Nueske.com and must say their product wasn’t frozen like yours. I bet it would last 5 or 6 hours. Kudo’s to SteakBurger. I threw a Thanksgiving weekend party for ten guests and server your hamburger. My father is planning on placing an order next week. I like the patties, but felt they were compressed and thin (which isn’t bad.) I know the weight is the same as dividing a 1 lb package, but I liked it better when made the burgers. Maybe it’s a mental thing, but that was my first impression. I believe the only way to BBQ is over charcoal. We added some bleu cheese crumbles and watched our guests salivate and ask for more. "If you’re going to eat red meat, eat healthy red meat , right? My family is RAVING about this ground beef. It’s grass fed (NO danger of Mad Cow), hormone, drug and pesticide free. Low in fat, high in protein, it’s the red meat to eat. Store bought (Ralph’s, Costco, etc…) red meat is probably the worst source for healthy, animal protein.

The taste of the meat is delicious. We have eaten 2 pkgs so far.

I also feed my house cat your raw SteakBurger. He loves it too! I chop up raw garlic & mix in Celtic Sea Salt & Perfect Food Powder for him. He is 16 yrs old & since I switched to RAW meat 4 yrs ago, his health is much improved.

Now with all the "Mad Cow" issues out there, we most definitely buy only grass-fed beef & organic fed poultry, etc.

I plan to post a link on my website so so my customers will have a source for their grass-fed ground steak.
